ANCC Teej 2026: A Celebration Transformed into a Night of Hope for Nepal

ANCC came together for a special Teej Charity Dinner and Fundraising Program, turning a planned celebration into an evening of compassion, unity and support for flood-affected families in Nepal.

What was originally planned as a Teej celebration became something much more meaningful for the Austral Nepalese Community Club (ANCC) community. With devastating floods affecting communities across Nepal, ANCC decided to transform its planned Teej celebration into a Charity Dinner & Fundraising Program dedicated to supporting those affected by the floods. The evening brought members, families and friends together not simply to celebrate Teej, but to stand in solidarity with people facing hardship back home. The event reflected the strength and compassion of the Nepalese community in Australia. Through togetherness, support and contributions, the ANCC community showed that although we may be thousands of kilometres away, Nepal remains close to our hearts. The program provided an opportunity for everyone to come together, remember those who lost their lives, stand with affected families and contribute towards their recovery. For ANCC, the evening was a reminder that community is not only about celebrating together during good times, but also about standing together when our people need support the most. This Teej, our togetherness became a message of hope. ANCC sincerely thanks everyone who attended, contributed and supported the fundraising initiative. Your presence and generosity helped turn a difficult moment into an opportunity for our community to come together and make a difference. Together for Nepal. Together in difficult times. 🇳🇵❤️
